There's a stray snow crocus blooming in the lawn. The leaf mulch has been removed from the crocus bed which has a nice collection of green sprouts and maybe some buds. However winter's chill is going to return tomorrow. it will last for the next several days. So it goes. The daffodil points are up with an enthusiastic green. The chill will slow them down.

I had a couple of crocuses blooming in my layered planter, but were soon covered in snow. A heavy rain took out all the snow, but we are once again under a snow warning for Sunday and Monday. Talk about the winter that never ends. We usually have japonica and early daffodils out by now but this year, a few snowdrops and crocuses are welcome sights.

Enough alredy! Three inches of snow overnight. And all my sewing stuff is at the retreat centre several miles away!
