This morning we woke to 2.5 inches of the wettest, stickiest, most beautiful snow cover possible. It is gorgeous! However, my blooming daffodil row is completely and totally covered! It has just started its bloom. It is over a foot wide and 90 feet long. When totally open, it looks like a brush painted a yellow swath across the front of my yard. The neighbors love this joyful herald of spring. It is complimented regularly. When the weather is the right temperature, and remains cool enough, it will last a long time. This is a wait & see now to find out how the blossoms fare.

Brrrr! Not what you want when the flowers are out but they'll probably be fine as long as it doesn't last too long.

Just checked the weather site. It is going to be winter again through Tuesday. Night time temps will be in the teens. We have 25 mph winds right now that feel every bit like winter. I went out and rehung the burlap around my Alaskan Cedar tree then came back inside for keeps.

According to the weather sites, what we have going on here is an Alberta Clipper. Ummmm....Really. You shouldn't have.

Don't blame me, it was 70f here today! It was Brianna's 5.th birthday party and all the kids were outside on the trampoline and running around in their bare feet!
