Lol, I saw that. I'm guessing those people have never had them ripping the shingles off the roof or terrorizing their pets. It reminds me of the people who get out of their cars to feed the 'cute' bears in the wilderness parks. ? You do realize it's a DEAD raccoon they are honouring? Only good raccoon is a.........

I like the framed photograph of a raccoon. I thought that was pretty funny, though I do feel sorry for the raccoon.

Having experienced coon issues and having been advised by our town's illustrious dog officer that a coon may be caught in a live trap and then released at the edge of my property, or by a wild life official who told me "she" may have babies and that I should feed 'her', I thoroughly appreciated the humor which was a dig at the city officials more than anything. This is a gem.

I think I'd be checking your 'wild life official's' credentials. Feeding raccoons is an absolute no no! They don't need feeding and are very self sufficient!..

This happened several years ago. There are other critters around here, including bears, that nobody wants. Putting food outside, including into a compost pile, is something that doesn't happen around here...or shouldn't. A garden needs to be fenced.
