Made stew for the first time this season. I love my stew. It is just so flavorful and delicious but the last meal from it was yesterday. Yet there is, as always, a lot of marinara with some potato left over. This morning I made a veggie soup with that. This is a first. I hope it maintains the original stew flavor but there's hardly any beef in it now. Sometimes my experiments are bombs. It looks like a minestrone. All the veggies might change the flavor. In the mean time, the crock pot will cozy up the house with its home cooked scent.

Brrr first frost of the year here so stew sounds yummy, Ruff. If it's not beefy enough, you could always add some beef bouillon cubes, or some more of the original spices.

We'll see. It would have been nice to save some of the original beef for the soup but the stew was so darn delicious that I ate it. *grin*
It was our first frost as well. Once upon a time, normal frost used to be around 10/7 and never beyond 10/15. This year we made it all the way into November! This is a first.
