Perhaps you've done this but it was new and different for me. While Christmas food shopping, I spotted a new box of Progresso crispy bread crumbs. It looked interesting so into the carriage it went. This week was also the week to replace the salmon fillet since the supply in the freezer is running low. The large fillet is cut into portioned strips for freezing. Usually I cook salmon in the microwave. It is delicious. Today I tried a fresh piece of salmon and followed the directions on the box (but used garlic salt). It was baked in the convection toaster oven. It took longer to cook this way. I'm used to 3 minutes in the microwave. I thought for sure the salmon was going to be killed. Well............ It was one of the most scrumptious pieces of salmon I've ever had! It was sooo moist but still fully cooked. The only thing is that I didn't pay attention to how long it was in the oven. Next time I will need to write that down. Boy was it delicious!
